Durack Club Competition
Durack Toastmasters Club held its six-monthly club competition on the 6th of March. Two contests were held, being “Internation Speaker” and “Speech Evaluation”. Thank you to all the members who participated in and helped out on the day.
Steve D’Costa won the International Speakers Contest and Mary Murphy won the Evaluation Contest. Congratulations!
The winners from Durack now go to the i40 Area Finals, competing against the winners from Riverside, Terrace and Young Guns Clubs. The Area Finals are being held on Monday night (9th of March) in the Durack building from 6pm. Everyone is more that welcome to attend and cheer on the Durackian representatives.
Mary Murphy will be representing Durack in the Evaluation Contest. Unfortunately Steve is not able to attend and so Medhat Takla will be representing us in the International Contest.
