District Officer Roles
Toastmasters Clubs are arranged into Areas, with each Area typically including four to six clubs. Each Area has an Area Governor, who serves for a year, from July 1st to June 30th.
Similarly, areas are arranged into Divisions and may cover a city of region. Divisions are then assigned into Districts.
As an example, Durack Toastmasters is part of an Area called P30 that covers Perth. P30 is part of the Perth Division. Perth Division is part of District 73, which covers Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.
Elected Officers support the District at all of these levels. The documents below describe the role of each of these district officers.
